At Green River Oaks Resort, we pride ourselves on being an affordable family-friendly destination. Most of our activities and amenities are included with the cost of your stay. Our owners have a big family and understand that it can be difficult to find destinations that offer a lot of activities without a lot of added costs. You will never feel that you are being "nickeled and dimed" while camping with us.

Each of our weekends is assigned a theme, and our activities for that weekend bring the theme to life. We have a dedicated Activities Director who works to ensure that every child enjoys his or her time with us.

GREEN RIVER RECREATION
We are located right along the Green River in Lee County, Illinois. Many of our campers enjoy tubing, kayaking and rafting down the river. In 2017, we began offering the rental of Corcls for use on the river. The latest in small watercraft, the Corcl is a source of fun for the whole family! Call ahead to reserve or stop in the store during your visit to get signed up.
FISHING
Our own Lake St. George has been stocked with catfish, bass and blue gill for catch and release fishing. A fishing license is not required for fishing on our private lake; however, if over the age of 16, you will be required to obtain a fishing license to fish on the Green River.
